We use an iPad usually to connect with son in Chicago on his (spit spit) Android phone at the same time with daughter here in the UK on her Mac or iPhone.

She is often out walking her dogs in the countryside, or being driven somewhere, so her connection is via 4G.

That in itself would have seemed like sci-fi not too long ago.
